Today (5 March 2025), Mr. Udom Srisomsong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, said that the department has areas in Suphan Buri and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya provinces to monitor the situation of paddy rice purchases during the dry season paddy rice harvest season to ensure stability and fairness for farmers, including preventing farmers from being taken advantage of or taking advantage of the opportunity to lower the purchase price.
